Insolvency law – bankruptcy and compulsory settlement
Legal entities are terminated on the basis of a shareholders’ consent, the law, authorities’ decision or its internal act.
Regularly companies are terminated by a special liquidation process. When such a liquidation process is not possible, companies are terminated by a bankruptcy process.
The main difference between them is that in the first one all the obligations towards the creditors are settled while in the second one this is not the case.
